Mayor Jason Morrison has set the Halloween Trick or Treat hours for the Village of Cuba, NY, to Friday, October 31, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for homes with lights on.

Halloween 2025 is just around the corner! Starting Monday, October 27th, SRO Howe will be distributing glow sticks and reflective bags to any students planning to trick-or-treat this year. You can also visit our office to request them from an officer.

Recently, officers participated in firearms training, which is a critical lifesaving skill. During the training, the recruits mastered firearms proficiency, ensuring they can protect themselves and others. Our officers train during the day, night, and even in inclement weather.

If you’d like your child safety seat inspected and installed, meet one of our Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians at CPD on Saturday, August 9th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This Safety Check is a collaborative effort between Ardent Solutions, Inc., and the Cuba PD.

CPD recently received two water rescue kits for patrol cars as a donation from the Cuba Lake Cottage Owners Association. These kits were funded through donations and fundraising efforts. The kits will be instrumental in our agency’s response to any potential water emergencies.
