State Representative @ctravisjohnson thinks industrial hemp is an emerging business in Louisiana. I spoke to Johnson about his new law to study and promote the industry.
“I think being on the cutting edge with sustainability, including hemp, it will set us on the trajectory of creating a new type of workforce,” Johnson told KNOE.

Hemp is the most sustainable plant on the planet, that’s why I filed HB330 to create the Industrial Hemp Promotion & Research Program under the Dept of AG. This will add research & advertising money to keep Louisiana at the forefront of economic research and development.#lalege
