My wife and I had to abruptly say goodbye to our dog Steve - a girl dog named Steve - to start this week.
She has been with us our entire 11 years. My wife adopted her before me.
I’m sorry for being absent so much this week, but Steve’s loss has been absolutely devastating.

My grandma Jeanne reached the age of 99. She traveled to nearly 100 countries in her lifetime. She was retired from the Navy and spent decades teaching. One of my best memories was taking my now wife Carrie to meet her in Oregon the week before proposing. She was very proud.
