everyone telling phaino to just talk to mydei because mydei likes straightforward people but he doesn't, no. instead he plans on jumping from a moving car. "solid plan, right?" phainon says and watches the light fade from the triplets' eyes. "no!" "no. "no..."

where phainon used to wait for him. he doesn't meet with phainon if he can help it and he sure as hell doesn't think about phainon and his smile and the way he kept seeking mydei out like he was helpless to it. phainon leans on the railing above and waves. mydei turns away.

and mydei feels stupid for thinking phainon was a friend and maybe— but then he shakes the thought away because he was clearly wrong and phainon wants him gone. so he makes sure to do his job properly and he doesn't linger around the corner of the rest areas

phaidei working at the chimera park except phainon is in customer service so he keeps putting himself in situations to get mydei's attention and it works until it backfires spectacularly when mydei starts thinking phainon wants to get him fired by proving he can't do his job well
