This is posted in the Richmond airport. If colleges & universities are no longer requiring a standardized test score, please tell me why our 8-10 year olds are taking standardized test? Adjust or put people with the innovative mindset in those position to make change happen.

How Many Ways?!? Such a simple and easy way to build Fraction Sense! These Ss couldn’t write a mixed number or improper fraction when we started! Look at how many ways they could write today for the model!!!

Exploring with Fraction bars to find fractions equal to 1/2! On their own Ss discovered that when the numerator is 1/2 of the denominator the fraction is equal to 1/2!! Now we are going to use that rule to compare fractions with unlike denominators!!!
