Last day of this summer’s Segundo Barrio Mural Project. Today participants attached the parachute fabric to the wall. Mural is located on Virginia Street and 6th Avenue.

Today participants got to learn about how and why the original murals in Segundo Barrio were painted from veteran activists Oscar Lozano and Arturo Avalos who were interviewed by Dr. Yolanda Leyva from UTEP’s Institute of Oral History.
