The Hour of Code will happen tomorrow. This year marks our 2nd Hour of Code event, all in efforts to broaden participation and raise awareness in the Botswana community about CSEd to drive change and support. We could not have done it without facilitators and industry partners.

@EthelTshukudu and I had a great chat on @Gabzfmnews today! We spoke about fostering computing among Batswana youth, weaving culture into coding activities, and the impact of early computing initiatives in underrepresented communities. #HourOfCode It was my first time on-air!

I am thrilled that Alison Clear, chair of SIGCSE will be delivering a public lecture at our University, also covering the latest directions in csed. This event is incredibly timely, as our country(Botswana) is just beginning to embrace csed, with many changes on the horizon.
