To everyone here in the X community (and elsewhere) that has so warmly shared love, appreciation & support for Curtis, on behalf of his wife, daughters, family & friends - THANK YOU. No doubt, Curtis is smiling down seeing his mission for spreading connection live on.

I was able to finish the house he started. It’s bittersweet, but his favorite part - the poolside room with full wall doors- feels like a love letter to his way of seeing the world. With full but longing hearts, we share that love with you:

@SFACC So crazy. This picture is from just before Christmas. Now it’s just the white dog left. Hold everything you love close and make sure you give it extra love and affection. The world flips in an instant.

@SFACC I’m not going to give up. I’ll put up more flyers today. I’ll still leave his bed and some water out, but my heart will look for peace in the belief that he’s found a new home. A home where he’ll be loved just like our home. He’s a lovable little guy.

@SFACC If another family took him in, I would be heartbroken, but it is OKAY. And it’s here where I have to let my heart rest. That he’s being cared for. That he’s ok. That he’s not wandering the streets scared and starving.

@SFACC The second most likely scenario (that she didn’t mention, but that won’t stop running through my head) is too painful to consider.

My wife spoke with someone at @SFACC today and they said because of how long it’s been since he was last seen and the area of the city and the kind of dog he is, that the most likely scenario is that another family took him in.
