“Then I won’t be found out,” she retorts clearly. Soon enough, she brought him to a disaster shelter in a quiet part of the city. She pressed in the code—one they both should know, from their knowledge as heroes (or formerly so). The stairs to the shelter were steep. .
“If it’s nothing then you should let me go. they find out you’re helpin’ me then you’re gonna get in deep trouble.” . He couldn’t help but wonder why at all she would go out on a limb and help him. Just didn’t make any damn sense to him.
