@Autistic_Lauren I'm a more serious person with limited facial expressions and body movements. Someone gives me bad news and I just sit there and blankly stare. I feel bad but since I don't know how to react in a socially acceptable way, and am aware I'm expressionless, I just shut down.

Just because an autistic person doesn't react to something the way you expect us to doesn't mean we aren't feeling anything. A lot of times I'll be feeling a lot internally, but don't know how to express that externally

Here’s a super slick no-gi head and arm choke from half guard, shown by Ali Abdelaziz. It's a different setup that catches a lot of people off guard and works even against strong pressure from the top. Definitely worth adding to your game. #BJJFanatics #NoGiJiuJitsu

With more than 60% of autistic teenagers and young adults facing challenges obtaining a driver’s license, technology developed at Vanderbilt University’s School of Engineering is aiming to close that gap with an AI-powered driving simulator. https://t.co/DFPgIAWi4I

I wish more people knew that sensory overload when it comes to auditory inputs is not just about loudness. It's also about the type, pattern, unpredictability, and repetition of sounds.
