Here is a quote from Wouk's "War and Remembrance." It caused me to ask: Do people have a right? What makes someone a "good American?" "Nobody has a God-given right to enter the United States. People have to show evidence that if we let them in they’ll become good Americans.”

A great @entrepreneur success story. He found a market aching to buy his product. @startup read this article and take notes. It all starts with market demand!!! "The hottest beer in America doesn't have alcohol." https://t.co/VKmvxmxZWo

Power has been out on @Stanford campus for three days already… The impact on the community has been immeasurable. Think of the students without electricity and scientists whose research had been destroyed. It is remarkable that the campus is so vulnerable!
Evening update: PG&E is working to repair damaged equipment, and we are cautiously optimistic that full power will be restored to campus by this weekend, with a full resumption of activities by Monday at the earliest. Check https://t.co/MjuOohHJDT for current campus services.

Just got this note from a founder and it really struck me. This idea of seeing things in people and businesses sometimes even before it’s clear to the founder. And being on the journey with them as they realize it. No words.

A wonderful tribute and close to this Christmas. Love to all and to all a good night. Charliep
On Christmas Eve 1968 Astronauts Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders recited the first 10 verses of Genesis in a broadcast from space. It's one of the greatest moments in history. I've heard the recording many times—but I'd never heard them discuss HOW it happened til now:
