CBPD, 4th JD, and CLPD joined the 22nd Annual National Family Violence Warrant Sweep on 10.15.25. The sweep resulted in 31 warrant attempts with 7 warrants served, 1 domestic assault arrest, 3 restraining order checks, and 2 wanted subjects located in other jurisdictions.

CBPD was made aware of a threat a Wilson Jr High today. The threat was quickly determined to be not credible. The investigation is on-going. Due to the age of the subjects involved, no further information will be released.

CBPD HOP, with several other community partners, completed their first week of ‘A Path Forward’ Project on Friday, and we have several successes to share. We are looking forward to next week’s progress and will provide a comprehensive report to the community when it’s done.

This week is National Forensic Science Week. CBPD has a Crime Scene Unit. Their job entails crime scene response, evidence documentation and collection, and scene reconstruction. They also conduct advanced laboratory processing and specialty analysis.
