Minimum wage has just been increased, which just means if you are a graduate with 2 years experience you'll earn about £500p.a. more than someone with zero qualifications and no skills and experience.

I don't have an issue with EVs. I will own one at some stage. I do have an issue with people telling me 'I have' to buy one now... Sorry, but I'm not putting myself in debt to finance your sudden intolerance of fossil fuels.

I've had better Sundays to be honest. Broken coil spring. Got the strut out, new spring in but the lower arm bolts have seized and going to have to cut them out... It's just turned into a massive job...

Amazes me why people go back to certain car brands when their dealers treat you with such derision especially with parts supply to older models. They just aren't interested, terrible customer service and just want to flog you another car... BMW I'm looking at you...

You've probably worked out that the way to beat all this is run an old car.. No software updates, they can't track you, they can't tax you per mile, you can wind back the odometer yourself.,... They convinced everyone to buy diesel, then condemned them, same now for EV...
