I think a thing people completely miss on thriller bark scene is that Zoro was absolutely thinking he was gonna die. And he was comfortable with that because Sanji was there, even if Zoro wasn't there in their journey Sanji would be there for Luffy. They trust each other.
If the strongest man in the world in the one piece world just wanted a family and to protect his family. I don't understand why Sanji is looked down upon when his goal has been to protect his friends.
Not to sound mentally ill. But I like how Oda changes up little things in sanji's design like his hair gets wavy if it gets wet, he wears glasses when he's in a disguise or needs to read, he takes off his tie sometimes while he fights? He usually gets 3 outfit changes in 1 arc💀

Usopp's code is very respectable. Clinging onto dear life no matter how pathetic you look, yeah Ur exactly the person we need here.
GOD I LOVE LIVING WEAPONS, I LOVE CHARACTERS THAT HAVE AN IDENTITY BASED AROUND PERFORMING A PURPOSE, I LOVE IT WHEN THEY BREAK FREE OF THEIR ESTABLISHED PURPOSE AND CAN FIND THEIR HUMANITY, I LOVE FREE WILL I LOVE FREE WILL I LOVE FREE WILL
but can we talk about how luffy says that sanji is a good cook every single time someone tries his cooking for the first time like that's wholesome shit right there 😭😭😭❤️

He was literally in wano for WEEKS and didn't figure out that "wait a minute shimotsukki village, shimotsukki family" gasp? They're from wano???????
Honestly I've been saying this for awhile. Luffy's absence is when Sanji takes lead. Oda had been building Sanji upto lead people since literally punk hazard. When people lose hope in Luffy, sanji stands strong and says trust in your captain. Even in the presence of Zoro.
This is why I say wci gives Sanji everything he ever dreamed of and wanted in his life but in the most fucked up way possible. It's Oda specifically curated emotional and physical nightmare for Sanji.
These two scenes are interesting to me. Nami is someone who doesn't back down, especially when she disagrees with Zoro or Luffy but if Sanji agrees with them, she does bcoz she knows that those two might be all instinct but if Sanji agrees then there might be a point to it.
I just think that growing up Sanji started speaking about the all blue less and less because of how dismissive everyone around him was about it and then Luffy came to the baratie declaring his outrageous dreams and sanji decided to share his and
Alot of people seem to be misunderstanding what Sanji meant by monster. To Sanji a monster isn't someone who look unusual (which is what chopper meant) or someone who is extremely strong (like how sanji referred to Luffy in drum) To Sanji a monster is someone who isn't humane.
I feel like Luffy could just wake
Sanji up late night whenever he gets hungry and sanji would make him something but he never does that coz he doesn't wanna bother him but sanji wakes up when he enters the kitchen anyways.
I'm gonna start crying y'all confirmation from oda that Sanji has blue flames. Monster trio cover I'm I can't I'm so happy and excited. Omg even his eyebrows are inverted.
I'm laughing this random acc saying Sanji hasn't laughed in recent years. Anyways lemme bring back one of my fave scenes from sanji's most traumatic arc because he's honestly just, that bright of a person 🥺.
To the people who keep saying Sanji wouldn't do that for a male crewmate, this was Sanji's reaction to seeing Franky after Usopp LEFT the crew. The selective memory in this fandom is crazy.
That was the entire point I remember I had been screaming since the chapter 990s 😭 that Sanji would rather be trapped than there be a chance that some women was being r*ped.
