Midsomer Murders always has flashback reveal sequences. These were scenes of realisation as facts came together. Other scenes are particularly vibrant & warm so we used softer, cooler tones to emphasize the subtly dramatic moments.

Midsomer Murders always has flashback reveal sequences. Here we juxtaposed faded sepia tones with the usual rich colour palette. For the hallucinations we created an abstraction of reality using halation for colour separation & defused glowing highlights.

Midsomer Murders always has a flashback sequence. We created a soft contrast sepia look for an overall warmth&pop in red tones. Key plot points needed a historic high contrast, heavy grained B&W look with inspiration from documentary style photography.
