The great thing about free market competition is I have 3 PHD level programmers competing to solve every problem I throw at them. @gdb @OfficialLoganK @bcherny

I think bootstrapping teaches you a few hard lessons early on. The most important of them - focus.

All health / bio apps suck. They all have enough useful data. But they never make that data useful. Just give me some insight based on all the data already collected.

THREAD: METALS SERVICE CENTERS Everyone talks about mills or factories. But many forget one of the most important layer in between, supplying America's industrial base. Called a processor or service center, sometimes a distributor if they strictly buy and sell.

If the right people are working on the right problems then this century, like the previous, will be another American century. And again - it will be a story of technology.

Here are a few ways we could do that - 1. Slash Red Tape - approval should take days not months or years. 2. Train Faster - turnover is high & skilled labor is rare. 3. Cut Downtime & Injuries - safer sites work more days. 4. Push 1-3 upstream to mines, mills, & ports.

Yet it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to just build physical things. Construction inflation is up x6 more than consumer inflation since 1875. America need’s to build far more than we do.
