At full-time, a flock of kids, as they always do, made for David Clifford. Mike Quirke was quick in reaching David out on the field to make sure he didn’t become ensconced by oblivious youngsters. The selector shepherded him back to the stand & inside a wall of luminous bibs.

Noelle Healy played her last game for @MourneabbeyLFC on Saturday. Nabbed her for a few minutes afterwards. 'To get another All-Ireland with Dublin was phenomenal, as was being able to experience the tightness and spirit in the community of Mourneabbey.'.

Ephie Fitzgerald: This is a logistical issue, but I think it's a women's issue, as well. Maybe I’m in a stronger position to talk about it because we were victorious but I was disgusted and I felt very sorry for Galway. They were rushing onto the pitch. There are no words really.

Billy Morgan on SuperValu Páirc:.“I think it is disgraceful, to be quite honest. I wonder sometimes do those board members know what Cork is all about and who Pádraig Ó Caoimh was”.
Spoke with Billy Morgan after UCC's facile Sigerson Cup win. Asked him what he made of attempts to rename Páirc Uí Chaoimh. He did not hold back.

For Clare to go from fifth to third in Munster, they need Cork to beat Limerick, they themselves must beat Limerick (both at Gaelic Grounds), and for Tipp to beat Waterford. That gets Clare to three points, level with Limerick, and Clare progressing on a superior head-to-head.
Tipperary moved out of intensive care. Their bed immediately filled. The patient’s report at the foot of the champions’ bed reads terminal. Champions for not much longer. Mathematically, Clare are still breathing. Their pulse, though, is faint.

Tipp manager David Power pulls no punches when giving his verdict on Leitrim walkover. He told @ExaminerSport: It is after leaving a very sour taste. Fermanagh, as far as I know, went with 18 men to Clare. Are you telling me Leitrim couldn't get 15-20 players to play against Down.

Seán Powter will be part of the Cork football panel for this Saturday's league fixture at home to Meath. The 2017 young footballer of the year nominee hasn't been part of a Cork match-day squad since January 27 of last year. #sportlive.

A genius, but more importantly, a thorough gentleman.
It is with huge sadness we inform you that Eamnon Ryan @GlenvilleGAA @WatergrasshillG @ucc_gaa @CorkLGFA & @OfficialCorkGAA passed on to his eternal rest this afternoon after a illness bravely fought. A legend in his own lifetime. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis .

Wexford’s insistence that the two Covid positive players did not name any Clare hurler when dealing with contact tracing personnel leaves unanswered the question of how the two Clare players came onto the radar of public health & their subsequent designation as close contacts.
