WIN a set of postcards of TV crime series as Penguin covers. Just guess which series is depicted on each cover. Earliest was shown in 1969. All originated on TV (so no Morse, Marple etc). Email sean@colemandesign.co.uk & I'll pick 3 from a digital deerstalker. Deadline: 10 Oct.

The BBC’s 1995 film of Persuasion is on iPlayer. Probably the best Austen adaptation I’ve seen. Every shot a thing of beauty.
