The entire thing is a mess. I've talked to artists that say they're still attending - I suggest you don't. Do not support this con. Do a charge back and get your money back and *do not* support Kisuucon. They don't care about artists or the community. They only want money.

Lucina locked parts of the discord and made security protocols enacted that made users unable to message eachother unless they had contact previously. This didn't stop the valid complaints and eventually Lucina's partner Dana (AgentScully) stepped in to try and do damage control

Lucina then accused the (mostly POC, mostly queer) team of artists tabling of transphobia and racism. Citing that we simply needed to "check our privledge" instead of being upset about the lies and scammy behavior.

When people started to air grievances in the event's discord, Lucina was quick to ban/kick those members and delete their posts.

Refunds were offered, but with a 6 week wait time. I doubt anyone will see those refunds. The truth is that Lucina was the CEO behind Shadocon - a con in the mid 2010s that stopped because hotels and staff were not getting paid, period.
