Seems the fee is £3 million including add-ons. A year earlier, Liverpool rejected a £4 million offer from Trazbonspor as they were expecting double that amount. Transfers between both clubs are rare with the last one being Ricky Lambert signed in 2015.

The oldest living former @WBA manager and the first one I ever met in person. Wishing him a happy birthday and milestone.
🎂 The LMA wishes Keith Burkinshaw a very happy 90th birthday. Keith's managerial career spanned over three decades, including eight years at Tottenham Hotspur with whom he won successive FA Cups and the 1983-84 UEFA Cup.

17 of the 24 Championship teams last season have changed their Head Coach since 2024, including us. I though Carrick was quite decent but their Board drew the line after almost 3 years. Hopefully, we will give Mason an appropriate chance to turn things around at @WBA.

Mason coached under Pochettino, Mourinho, Conte, and Postecoglou, who have collectively won 12 domestic league titles in European football. That speaks volumes of the potential influence they may have on our young @WBA Head Coach.

With @WBA ‘s next head coach appointment imminent (the 26th different one in my 35 years supporting them), you just hope that the data-driven analysis is coupled with deep psychological profiling and cultural alignment. This didn’t happen with Mowbray, as we all know.

Former @WBA midfielder Micky Mellon gives his promotion medal as Head Coach to the Oldham owner Frank Rothwell and attributes the success to the owner. Just lovely.

Former @WBA midfielder Micky Mellon has led @OfficialOAFC back into the EFL. His 6th promotion in his managerial career, and 3rd one from the National league!.

I watched this tragedy unfold as a kid on TV. I still cannot understand how the game was played that day. In memory to those lost and their families. And to those clubs who were irreversibly impacted by the aftermath.
Liverpool FC remembers the 39 football fans who lost their lives at Heysel Stadium, 40 years ago today. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedy.

I feel really sorry for our neighbours @WFCOfficial but it sums up a huge, unprecedented couple of weeks for South London at Wembley. @AFCWimbledon 's promotion on top of @CAFCofficial 's and of course @CPFC 's FA Cup win.

Heard is the biggest surprise here. Hall the next one. On the other hand, baffled with Cleary and Love being given extensions, and questioning the Higgins one. Great call on the rest. Onyemachi, Chimizeri , and Sule 👌 Alex Williams is another promising RB.
We can confirm our men’s retained and released lists following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign. The club would like to thank all departing players for their efforts during their time at The Hawthorns and wishes them every success in the future. 💙🤍.

A fitting video clip to watch, first with Glasner and secondly with Joel Ward's words, including his faith and all. Ward was close to signing for @WBA under Darren Moore but it never happened. Truly an inspirational and special captain. We could do with one like him at the Albion.
GOOSEBUMPS. 🏆. Seven minutes in the Crystal Palace dressing room, after the Eagles lifted the FA Cup 🥹.

Always admired Dwight Gayle, although his form dipped in recent seasons. Will never forget his excellent loan season at @WBA.
Hibernian forward Dwight Gayle has confirmed he plans to retire at the end of this season 🚨. The former Crystal Palace and Newcastle United striker admitted in December his body was "starting to break down a bit" 🥲

6 players in the @BCFC_Foundation squad also played for the Albion. Apparently it was a good match of football for an excellent cause.

268 league goals, 280 league points. That’s what @LCFC @IpswichTown & @SouthamptonFC accumulated between these 3 superb sides last season in the @EFL. 84 goals and 50 points collectively in the EPL. The gap between both divisions has become horrendous.

I can’t see what @WBA, and my fellow fans, expect to achieve under Tony Mowbray, especially in the twighlight of his career. When was the last time he won promotion to the EPL? His record in top flight football? Or indeed with Celtic? I’ve been saying this from day 1.
