Gonna post a few loom's this week on everything we've learned in the past 4 years running lifecycle marketing for brands about maximising BFCM rev It's simple not easy, but if executed right you can actually be *profitable* this year - not just crank revenue

Huge part of the reason we started our own brands was being able to control (and learn) everything about ecom scaling. We've already built a mini ads + creative agency, CRO team, setup fulfilment, sourcing etc. Learning so much it feels like day 1 half a decade ago again.

Call your friends. Every time I have a conversation with someone like @maxwellcopy , @rezenmann or @conortrains I inevitably realise I am not thinking anywhere near big enough. Aim higher.

Still don't get the biohacking world You make your life & daily routine more fragile - slight variation and you're off track & in your head Huge energy drain when it just comes down to doing work Idk how red lights can help with this

Running most of our ecom business comms via WhatsApp If you’re chronically addicted to slack and the endless cycle of pain it entails, should do this 37 WhatsApp notifications never felt so good

Run a finance audit at least every quarter. When you're moving fast it's inevitable you'll end up adding a bunch of things you don't need to the balance sheet. Have cut over $20k in software this am

The more business partners you have, the higher you’ll aim by default. Both financially and spiritually motivated to build the biggest thing possible. With 2 it was mutual 7 figure targets With 3 it’s 8 figures No additional motivation needed, just the boys driving eachother

Going brand side and running ads, looking at margins, factoring in COGS and doing it all from a 1st person POV (i.e. my money is on the line) has already made me 10x better at marketing You can't beat skin in the game for adding a bit of weight to your decisions

Always good to remember that business is not a zero-sum game. You can help and do right by everyone you meet and work with, have clients "churn" and remain friends, and still win big. Sure, competition is real - but you aren't competing with everyone. Important to remember.

Over the last 3 months, we’ve been secretly testing this with 9-figure brands like Graza, ILIA, and Vessi. Today, it goes live for everyone.

Some days feel like weeks, and the only thing you can actually do is handle it. Universe is throwing everything it’s got at you But ultimately everything will feel 1000x easier after.

If you want to make better business decisions - start a second business/venture. Even before it's successful, you'll make smarter calls because you'll be less attached to the outcomes. You'll also need to build better systems & ops Ecom is our 3rd venture

9 days later, have a stake in a brand. Time to see if it's really that much harder than running an agency Waiting on my invite to the GC fellas

I have no idea how you PST guys do it - more or less have some fires to put out within 5 minutes of waking up. Genuinely super impressive to run this as standard.

Been ripping sales calls for the first time in 4 years recently. Pleasantly surprised to see I can do it successfully. Always had that doubt in my mind - if you're an ops guy, you should do this.
