54- Keith Cameron- 168 Songs of Hatred & Failure Comprehensive near song by song account of the Manics. For a slightly casual fan this was a pretty daunting monolith. Curio for big fans only really. But impressive in its scope.

50- Abir Mukherjee- Hunted. Billed as a thriller but instead just a turgid borefest set around a terrorist threat during a US election. Something about kids & parents but overall a mess. Avoid.

48- Ann Cleeves-Cold Earth. I really enjoy the Shetland series. They’re not ground breaking, just solidly put together whodunnits. This continues that trend.
