I have never understood how these acquisitions make sense. A browser with almost no market share, no monetisation, highly competitive market, for $610M all cash?. Please educate me why (genuinely).

Very interesting paper by apple:. LRMs ramp up their “thinking” as puzzles get harder - until a point, then their effort sharply declines even though they still have enough tokens left. It’s like they get overwhelmed and give up prematurely despite having fuel.
