There is no doubt that if RTE was subject to the same oversight as the BBC, RTE’s coverage of the Israel/Gaza war wld not stand up to scrutiny & wld be found to have greater defects than that of the BBC.

the mamdani hype feels good but after 5 minutes, I kinda expect adults with critical awareness and pattern recognition to actually stay as grounded and stoic as possible in the face of symbolic wins that have not translated materially. y’all are so easy to appease, it’s dangerous
