In 2017, I remember seeing the work of an Artist I respect, and I turned off my laptop, lay down on the studio bed, and I was close to tears. That day I asked GOD if I was on the track because I considered it impossible for someone to be that good. Today, I can create something

It's been interesting designing these in the last couple of days. Now published on Behance 👉 https://t.co/u5FPV2HaFl

We all need to contribute in building the much needed organizations that make up the entire creative ecosystem. We all have different strengths and skills, which we have to put to use doing what we love! No one can do everything.
A team aligned behind a vision will move mountains. Sell them on your roadmap and don’t compromise — care about the details, the fit and finish. -Kevin Rose That is the story of the thegreeencircle. #thegreeencircle. #greeen #design #designcommunity #naija #creativeindustry

This unpaid asset along with some type work landed me a symposium branding gig. It's quite academic and a little bit out of my comfort zone but I like the challenge.
Self initiated side project. Small concrete sculptures of contemporary Nigerian identity. Good practice for 3D sculpting, rendering, and sound design. I chose to use concrete because of the obsession with concrete in our built environment. (Sound on 😉)

The builders trap is real; you need results to raise money, and you need money to scale results. The good news is you can work to get results by simply pushing through.

There isn't a skill problem, Nigerians are incredibly skilled. There is a problem with vetting. Also, to work with the best of the best, you can't depend on traditional methods when hiring. You have to convince them to work with you.
There’s a real skill problem in Nigeria and no one is talking about it Cause tell me why I went through over 200 SMM applications and couldn’t even find one decent applicant 😩😩 Where is the portfolio? Where are your samples? Why are you just sending resumes?

It's almost a year since I made a tweet asking how one could build taste. Here’s my answer to the question Taste isn’t just about design—it’s about the person. It’s the texture of one’s thirst, shaped by curiosity and deepened by the mind’s capacity to conceive.

@adeife_adeoye It is only Nigerians that have the temerity to underrate Nigerians. I was at a conference in Westminster Abbey in January where Andrew Mitchell gave a special recognition to Nigerians for always being the top success each year. The roaring sounds of Nigerians in the conference

You know them from their events, their engaging and juicy magazine @Zikoko_Mag, and their updates on the latest tech news @TechCabal. Yes, we're talking about @InsideTheCabal, and they're about to kick off their first design system. The Blueprint series will host @osazeyyh,

At the end of the day, I don't speak for every Nigerian designer. I speak for those who strive for excellence, those who won't settle for mediocrity, those building a legacy. I know this creative field is a means of survival for most. I respect that. But those who get it, get it.
