we get a lot of questions about which model to use in @cursor_ai, so we put together a guide on how you can think about selecting models based on what we've seen work well

Easier done during the planning stages when there are less moving parts. Of course, a lot of improvements only get discovered by staring at the working codebase….
AI coding is used to generate a lot of bulk code that is often blindly accepted, but it seems there is at least as much opportunity for AI to help make codebases more beautiful. Keeping a codebase in great shape or cleaning up a hairball takes a lot of effort beyond raw.

Why are all these decisions portrayed to be SWE decisions? Did SWEs do user research to figure out optimal behavior? Did they learn interaction and visual design? Do they know the data on downstream costs of each alternative implementation or maybe their biz partners do?.
i get the sense the people most bullish on vibe coding are people who have spent their careers talking to SWEs over 15-30min calls and haven’t quite grasped how many hundreds of daily decisions are hidden from them out of respect for time.

Same but I break them by task domains.Gamedev notes are separate.General thoughts are separate.UX work notes are separate.Etc.
Seeding my Bear ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ blog with more random posts, e.g. here's something I had on backlog for a while:. # The append-and-review note. An approach to note taking that I stumbled on and has worked for me quite well for many years. I find that it strikes a good balance of being

Built a comprehensive item generator for testing - crazy synergies are going to be so fun to play with!.This tool might be interesting to release for modders in the future.#vibejam
