Anyway — here’s how I fixed it: filepath.Join("logs", "app.log") Lesson learned: when dealing with files in Go, always use the path/filepath package. It handles OS-specific path differences and saves you from subtle bugs. Don’t let file paths break your app across OSes 😅.

The path separator caused issues on Windows. And speaking of slashes… the backslash key on my keyboard doesn't even work properly anymore. Probably broke from pressing the | key too much 😂 (To type pipe now, I do Ctrl + Shift + u + 7c + Enter. Wild, right?).

Debugging diaries 🐛 — Go edition. Last week, I ran into a sneaky issue with my Golang code. It worked fine on my Linux setup but failed when my friend tried running it on Windows. After digging, I found the culprit:.I hardcoded the path — "logs/app.log" 😅.
