Kaspa: Where do I begin? One of the most common questions I see floating around Kaspa is “where do I begin?”. I assume that because you’re reading this article from someone who writes code for …

Great work here @IzioDev, and thanks for the explainer video! It’s a nice resource for someone learning the concepts. Correction at:
Kaspa new VSPCv2 endpoint - on video 1. Quick intro 2. Selected parents, vspc and mergeset: what defines accepted transactions 3. What are the usual data I want as a network observer need? 4. How to use the new endpoint with quick showcase https://t.co/KRC6QsTvOY

Writing ZK circuits is hard, but KIP16 will make it easy. $KAS will integrate precompiles which will allow for verification of proofs generated by the RISC0 zkvm (with more precompiles integrated over time). This will allow you to write any (rust) smart contract in the risc0

I’m officially a KEF (@Kaspa_KEF) grantee for an engagement period of 1 year. I’m very grateful to have this opportunity to keep focusing on Kaspa without worrying about bringing food on the table. My mission with KEF is exclusively dedicated to Kaspa “Core”.

@Kaspa_HypeMan @kasmediadotcom I don’t see any problem with cryptok’s request, and no problem with the decline. Those are all legit negotiable numbers. Re some of the comments - It makes no sense to attack a brilliant volunteering contributor who built and maintained a beautiful platform with top-of-the-class

Regarding DAGKnight - the cascade voting isn’t implemented yet nor is the code here in any way mainnet or testnet ready yet, but I do have a vanilla static-DAG based impl that has core components of the protocol like hierarchic conflict resolution and incremental coloring in
I’ve never felt a stronger dissonance between how Kaspa R&D is thriving and how (part of) the community seems to be feeling -- at least on some of my radars, though completely not on others :) TL;DR: Talent and expertise are compounding in R&D, and real work is being done. More

PR740 by @IzioDev (and initially by DS) was just merged into the rusty-kaspa repo! This is a significant contribution that allows populated txs to be returned in RPC. It serves a lot of important use-cases needed for integrations such as: - being able to tell the source address

@DesheShai Heya. In some areas, you are correct, in some ...not quite. I can’t do an in-depth response to this post as it would require an even larger post :) So I’ll just focus on what I consider to be key elements. 1) vProgs paper is really just a set of guidelines. It has been

Very important points indeed and provides some good clarity and perspective between core and Igra. Definitely worth checking the conversation out. I don’t want to provide a summary so as not to misrepresent the content so I encourage anyone who cares about the topic to read it
Just had a good exchange with @hashdag — some important points raised and clarified:

Whenever a miner mines a red block, the miner doesn't get a reward, and the other miners compete on taking this reward. This is why some miners can have more than 100% efficiency.
A very strange aspect of Kaspa mining is that some miners are earning rewards significantly higher than their hashrate would suggest up to 20% more! If we rule out short-term variance, does this prove that the impact of network conditions is becoming more significant?
