Fundamental to executing the long arm is creating lean. Tape reveals this can be done off either foot. Central to creating lean w/ the inside foot is taking a wide track step that allows rusher to emulate the lean that comes naturally off the outside foot. Most coach this wrong.
5 reps from longtime Tampa Buc defensive tackle, Gerald McCoy. McCoy’s lightning first step and his ability to cross-chop, counter, or power down, made him an absolute force rushing the passer from a 3 tech alignment… 💰
5 reps from career KC Chief, Tamba Hali. Former 1st round pick out of Penn State would accounted for 6 Pro Bowls and 2 All-Pro selections from 2006-2017. Hali could speed, power, or counter but was noted for supreme hand violence when throwing his stuff.

5 vintage Von Miller reps… 7x all-pro, 8x Pro Bowl, 2x Super Bowl Champ, Super Bowl 50 MVP, 2011 DROY, 19th all-time in QB sacks. One of the most lethal speed rushers or all time.
HOF rusher Dwight Freeney’s spin move is the most devastating in Pro Football history. Few in NFL spin on a regular basis, and even fewer can do it in anything other than obvious passing situations. Freeney could do it reactively — on any down/distance, anytime, anywhere… 💰
Despite the scrutiny that is given to coaching/teaching pass rush, and the numerous technologies that have since been invented to enhance player’s ability to learn it… there has been no player that has been able to duplicate Reggie White’s proficiency with the “hump” move… 🐐
5 reps from Detroit Lions edge Aidan Hutchinson. The young man shows a nice mix of moves including several long arm variations, 2nd-step counters, and a spin that can be hit off either side.
1st rep: just the hips and feet on the first two, add the approach on the third, hi/lo finish on the pop up
2nd rep: just the hips and feet on the first two. Add the approach and hands on the third. Hi/lo finish on the pop up.
Awesome to see my guys from the NFL IPP program proceed forward in their NFL journey, and absolutely a privilege seeing my brotha David Agoha in his first road trip with the

5 reps from 2x All-Pro, 3x Pro Bowl DE, Robert Quinn. Quinn is a cross-chopper in the purest sense, and despite his tendency to have very high pad-level on the approach, Quinn has generational ability to lean and finish at the top of the rush. No one runs the hoop like Quinn.
HS pass rush group is alive and well. Over 40 kids trained since Dec 1st. We will be running at least one session per week all spring and summer. Hit DMs for info.

already producing heavily off of the edge. Freaky explosive outside jab step before transitioning to the inside counter 💰
