As I get closer to retirement as AD at Bethel University, I am so blessed to have served as Basketball & Track Coach & AD the past 26 years! Worked with a ton of great mentors, colleagues & athletes! I’ll still be involved to serve in the Athletic Department this coming year!.

Bethel University Athletics has won the NCCAA Presidential Award which is given as the All Sports Trophy for the highest point score in the NCCAA! First time we’ve been recognized for this award! Great job by all coaches and support staff involved!.

The Bethel University track & field teams concluded their NAIA Outdoor National Championships with Gabrielle Zeilenga finishing 7th in the pole vault which makes her an All American! Sophia Sumer was 12th in pole vault & Lamarr Williams finished 18th in 100m! Great meet!!.

The Bethel University track & field teams competed on Day 1 of the NAIA National Championships! Gabrielle Zeilenga finished 11th in the long jump & Lamarr Williams was 13th in the 200m! Williams competes in the 100m tomorrow & Zeilenga & Sophia Sumer compete in the pole vault!.

The Bethel University women’s track & field team finishes 4th at NCCAA National Championships! 2nd were Sophia Sumer-pole vault & Alecia Parker-shot put! 3rd - 4x1, Gabrielle Zeilenga-pole vault & Vladlena Klymova-400m hurdles! 4th- Grace Conway-pole vault & Hannah Frump-1500m!.

The Bethel University men’s track & field team finishes tied for 4th at NCCAA National Championships! Lamarr Williams is National Champion in 100m & 200m as was Joey Rutten in pole vault! 4x1 & 4x4 we’re 4th! Derek Vondark -110m hurdles & Austin Mason -400m hurdles were 5th!.

The Bethel University women’s track & field team sits in 3rd after Day 2 of the NCCAA National Championships! Gabrielle Zeilenga is an All American finishing 2nd in long jump! 5th was Anna Enderle-10k & 4x8 relay! Ariel Manns - 6th & Maiah Bargesser 7th-high jump!.

The Bethel University men’s track & field team completes Day 2 of the NCCAA National Championships with two scoring places! Chris Korthuis finished 4th in the decathlon & Anthony Maxwell was 5th in javelin! The meet concludes with several finals taking place tomorrow!.

The Bethel University men’s golf team finishes 6th in the Crossroads League Championships! Jonah Kumfer goes -1 for the tourney and finishes 3rd overall! Jonah finishes his career with Bethel’s all time low scoring record and the most decorated men’s golfer in school history!.

The Bethel University women’s track & field team completed Day 2 of Crossroads League Championships! 4x1 relay was 2nd! 7th - Camden Chellis-Heptathlon, Emma Maxwell-3k steeple & Brianna Hooten-200m! 8th-Sarah Brown-javelin, Nicanta Smith-100m & Vladlena Klymova -400m hurdles!.

The men’s track & field team competed on Day 2 of the Crossroads League Championships & was led by Anthony Maxwell who won the javelin! Lamarr Williams was 3rd in the 100m & 200m! Chris Korthuis was 5th in decathlon & Landon Herbert was 6th in triple jump! 4x1 relay finished 4th!.

The Bethel University men’s & women’s track & field teams competed on Day 1 of the Crossroads League Championships today! Alecia Parker finished 3rd in shot put! In 4th was Landon Herbert in long jump & Joey Rutten in pole vault! Gabrielle Zeilenga was 5th in long jump!.

The Bethel University women’s golf team finishes 4th in the Crossroads League tournament! Aynslee Myer finished 9th & Selah Unwin was 10th for the Lady Pilots!.

The Bethel University women’s track & field team was at Grand Valley St & Gabrielle Zeilenga broke the school record in the long jump at 5.88m to win the event! In pole vault Sophia Sumer was 2nd & Zeilenga was 3rd! The 4x1 relay of Rodgers, Hooten, Smith & Constable was 2nd!.

The Bethel University men’s track & field team competed at Grand Valley St & came away with a new school record! Lamarr Williams broke the 100m record at 10.39 finishing 1st! Joey Rutten was 5th in pole vault! 4x1 relay of Williams, Brissau, Bargesser & Harmon finished 3rd!.

The Bethel University baseball team gets the win at Grace 7-6! Adam Walters gets the win for the Pilots! Jordan Landkrohn goes 3-4 with 3 RBI’s & a home run! Jacob Sitterly goes 2-3 with 2 RBI’s!.

I have announced my retirement from the Bethel University Athletic Director position effective August 1. I am very excited to announce I will be staying on for 1 year as Athletic Department consultant/advisor!! I will be very involved in the year to come! Very blessed! Go Pilots!.

He Has Risen!! The tomb is empty! The most important day of the year in the life of a Christian is today!! Of all the great accomplishments that Bethel University Athletics has done this year, this is the top priority for sure! Knowing that Jesus has risen changes everything!.

The Bethel University women’s golf team wins the Pilot Invitational finishing 1st out 6 teams shooting a 307/310! Izzy Aigner finished 1st! Karisa Dyer was 4th, Aynslee Myer 5th, Megan Bishop 7th & Selah Unwin was 10th! Great day for the Lady Pilots!!.
