Benefit of conceptual offense... You don't need to play 5 on 5 to execute. SSG = Offense. Carryover between drills and skills = style of play......Nice stretch here by the Orange team at practice! Gained advantages and kept defense in rotation with ball speed.

Typically our best defensive drills are SSGs. Today, we ran shell to teach and reinforce some defensive principals. We ended by giving he offense a small advantage which triggered live play. Was a nice middle ground between live play and shell.

Order of Operations in transition defense: 1. Ball 2. Basket 3. ballside/most dangerous 4. Match up or get into zone.....Also option to run with deadly shooters instead of to basket vs. teams that pitch ahead well
