System on Chip.

Sadece Almanyada bu işi yapan firmaların piyasa değerinin toplamı 3-4B$'den fazla. Bu sistemlerin adı genelde System on Module ve System in Package diye geçer. Bir kaç büyük oyuncu saymak gerekirse Kontron, Toradex, Adlink,Myir ve sadece SiP üreten Octave https://t.co/YgXu04lUcg

OMG, he explained my work environment in Sweden. Old people, resistant to any changes and improvements. Slow development cycles. 20-30 years in a single company. They forget developing technology anymore and don't know how the outside world is!

My wife works in a large German corporation, and it’s exactly like that. She’s very ambitious, but the environment around her is the complete opposite. She’s surrounded by colleagues who have been there for 20–30 years and are simply waiting for retirement. Managing people in

The SoM I have been working on for some time is almost ready for engineering samples! There has been a lot of effort to make this happen. Ultra small, 12-layer HDI module with 25+4 TOPS AI power.

When you work with a solderable SoM, it gets difficult to develop the prototypes. Also debugging becomes a mess. #drones #som #e1m #electronics #layout #hardware #ai #vision #edge

@alplabai When I consider the DC bias effect, the effective capacitance reduces from 10uF to 4.2uF which creates higher input ripple. I might need to improve this for the next revision. The maximum desired ripple for the input is 50mV.

Another important detail is the input ripple, which is related to input voltage, output voltage, output current, frequency and input capacitor.

For this case, I have calculated the necessary output capacitance as stated in the datasheet of the PMIC. I had to consider DC bias effect since we chose small components in terms of footprint size.

I like putting design details to the schematic. It helps to keep the information organized and available easily during debugging and development. This is our E1M-X Renesas-DeepX SoM's PMIC design @alplabai #pmic #schematic #design #hardware

I found this website to calculate the feedback resistors for DC/DCs and LDOs. Check it out, you can find the E96 combinations easily. https://t.co/flNLDQFd6z

In this specific setup, I had to add load switches to all rails to disable them during programming of the PMIC. After the initial development, the PMICs will come preprogrammed and there will be no need to have the load switches anymore. #PMIC #HW #layout #hardware #PCB

Also, you have to pay attention to the thermal performance, otherwise you might have heating problems on your PCB. I have found this one from Qorvo, Inc. which is very suitable for our HDI module (E1M).

Do you use similar PMICs on your designs? You can get a lot of power rails from one chip with complex sequence diagrams. However it comes with its own challenges, you need to have blind and buried VIAs to fanout the signals.
