In this manner, White women must not use the texts of other Black women to tell Black women that their organizing choices are wrong because they don't include White women. It reads a lot like your one Black friend is Clarence Thomas and using him to explain Roe V Wade.

Never is it okay to tell the hostess of one Cookout that they are serving the wrong dishes because a similarly themed Cookout does it differently. The dishes she's serving reflect her social justice heritage.

You see, social justice is better when everyone is involved, each doing whatever they feel is necessary to handle the situation. Just like throwing a cookout, the goal is to serve the guests and make sure everyone gets fed.

The entire country is having a cook out. So many Cookout invitations everywhere! Certainly, potato salad with raisins will be served at one of them. Guests from historically spiceless households can attend those. Or they can throw their own cookout. That's cool.

One might invite some trusted people. Others may not trust those people, so, they're never invited. It's okay. Often The Cookout is happening because a special event occurred.

Here's the thing about social justice. It's a lot like The Cookout - unique to every organizer.
