Chaired my last Environment Committee meeting 🥹 it's been an honor to oversee so much change in the borough over the last 4 years: ♻️Hugely increase in our recycling rate 🍏Introducing food waste recycling 🔋Net-Zero by 2043 🌳Park run in Battersea Park 💨Vast AQ improvements

I'm glad @wandbc mixes up their mega skip locations so everyone is able to drop off bulky items - even I have a load of tat to drop off! Really proud that this Labour administration has hugely increased the number of mega skips to twice a month

Their motion (an important one to debate about a potential school closure), and all the other important business such as housing and council budget didn't get any opposition scrutiny because of their pointless social media stunt...

Another Council meeting tonight that was a complete waste of time because of the Wandsworth Tories playing games 🙄 This time they left the meeting because their motion wouldn't get moved to the top of the agenda, meaning that we weren't able to debate it when it came up 🤦
