19 million 😳
we run 18 million EC2 instances per month. At our scale, we see very rare bugs very frequently. Last week, we received *half* an HTTP request. Not a HTTP 206, literally half a request. Content-Length was 2350 bytes. Body was actually 1200 bytes, and was truncated mid json doc.

This experience highlights some of the challenges that many developers and technologists from certain regions face in accessing global opportunities, but it won't diminish my passion for building and sharing knowledge.
I'm writing to share some disappointing news. Despite being selected to present a Lightning Talk at AWS re:Invent 2025 on "From triggers to thinking: Building event-driven AI on AWS (DEV202)," I will be unable to attend the conference due to not being able to obtain a US visa.
