caaaaan't really give horse drawing TIPS but as promised here's the (mostly tackless) lineart from each of my horses from the past 2 days before I drew the saddles and bridles on. horses are like anything else, it's just very important to be good at breaking them into shapes

Last bike horse for today. This commissioner wanted a relatively lightly built horse that's good on bumpy terrain for their mountain bike! I went with a Tennessee Walker and gave her a bit of a haughty expression since they said she's 'too good to be ridden in the city'.

a nice dapple grey for a Korean bike that's a decade or two old. decidedly not polished or sleek, and needs some elbow grease now and then, but it runs just fine :)

Although these two bikes look similar in colours, it's always nice when people tell me about how they see their bike so I can give them a bit of personality. I have a lot of fun picking out poses and horse breeds for these.

I picked a Drum Horse for the leg feathering, since Shires aren't supposed to have white markings. (What kind of coat is this? I don't know, VERY light dapple grey or grey buckskin? I just thought white + black mane was appropriate :P).
