The "Clicky Monitor" Chrome plugin was just updated last week to support MV3, so get on it!

We added a new clicky_custom parameter, "site_id_replace". It addresses a specific edge case where a SPA/dynamic site is using multiple site_ids on the same domain.

Also lots of other minor and not-so-minor tweaks to the way URLs are parsed in general. Let us know if anything seems broken.

Some big updates today to process Shopify "web pixel manager" URLs properly, the ones that were about a billion characters long and started with "/wpm@. " . I don't know what they did recently, but wow what a mess.

Update: There were a few unexpected issues with 83 and 90, so we're running 91 instead today. 83 and 90 will go tomorrow.

A bit of database maintenance this weekend: db83, 89, and 90 today, then 91 tomorrow. During maintenance, incoming traffic is stored in a queue that is processed after maintenance is done. Overall process takes between 12-24 hours, depending on the server.

Customer asked how to track OS level dark mode, thought it might be of interest to others too. I send so many emails like this, I need a magic button to automatically convert them into documentation on our website without having to do anything else.

In the meantime, you can just refresh the page with the form and you should see the new values.

Recently discovered a caching bug with forms. If you edit any existing item (site, goal, uptime, etc) via its form, then go back to the form after submitting it, you'll see the old values, even though the new values were properly saved to the database. Will fix this week!.

Had some reports recently of visitors with referrers having "?ai" appended to their landing page URLs. Can't find any docs online about it, so we're just removing it, starting now.

Those of you using Google Merchant Center may have noticed a lot of organic search traffic showing up as paid traffic recently. Just pushed up a fix for this.

Our proxy tracking code is meant to use the same domain as your site for its beacons, but this new customer came up w/ a nice hack to run it on a different domain instead! Not sure we'll add this officially, but sharing it for those who may find it useful:

.@Cloudflare just announced they're removing all apps next month. If you were using our CF app, apparently that's all breaking some time in March?. If applicable, consider removing the app now and just using the normal tracking code, or a plugin, instead.

All filters have now been restored from a backup from a few days ago.

A bunch of IP tags/filters, and other filters (countries, etc), got deleted by a strange bug. We'll be restoring those from backup later today, and getting the bug fixed.
