Example (illustrative): Long 119k Call @ $245 premium, target 120k, Δ ≈ 0.10 Risk: $245 (premium) Potential payout after premium: ~$755 Probability: ~10% Risk/Reward: 1 : 3 Good UX should surface probability, est. payout, and R/R, so you don’t need to parse a wall of numbers.

A useful shortcut: Delta ≈ probability of expiring In The Money for short-dated options (T to T+2). Δ ≈ 0.25 → ~25% ITM odds Δ ≈ 0.75 → ~75% ITM odds Not exact (vol and time matter), but it turns a Greek into intuitive odds you can act on.

Options data can be a lot. You don’t need to love the Greeks, but a quick feel helps: Δ (Delta) ≈ direction sensitivity Γ (Gamma) ≈ how fast Δ changes Θ (Theta) ≈ time decay per day Vega ≈ IV sensitivity ρ (Rho) ≈ rate sensitivity (smaller on short-dated crypto options) 🧵
