60 yr old medial knee pain. physio = needles, massage and low load ex - no better so referred for MRI. Dx arthritis - surgeon said ‘your knee is trashed’ 2 steroid injections no help so offered a TKR’. Low value care so pervasive! @DrChrisBarton @jpcaneiro @BJSM_BMJ @ewa_roos
