10 major league innings. 0 hits. And if that’s not enough, he’s taking souls too.

No one is talking about Aaron Ashby’s filth…. 0 ER in 9 IP — 24.3% K-BB in that time. Two disgusting breaking balls🤮:.CB: 81.6mph, -21.4 VB, -8.8 HRZ.SL: 83.2mph, -9.8 VB, -12.4 HRZ. Both pitches >40% whiff rate and <.230 xwOBA.

The San Francisco Giants are acquiring All-Star slugger Rafael Devers from the Boston Red Sox, sources confirm to ESPN. An out-of-nowhere blockbuster deal. Boston is getting RHP Jordan Hicks and more. First on the news was @ByRobertMurray.

Jo Adell is tied with Pete Alonso for the most homers in June with 6! 📈📈📈. If he keeps hitting like this consistently, there’s a lot to like here…

A sneaky arm I like is Juan Mejia down in Colorado. GREAT slider shape: (🎥👇🏼).82.5v, -3.2 iVB, -14.9 HB 🥏 + high RPMs.-allowing .185 xBABIP + above average chase in ‘25. Fastball is weird, but hasn’t performed as bad as the shape. Another fun reliever COL has churned out 🗻

Rodríguez also made some slider tweaks. Taking an already devastating offering to the next level. Slider:.86.0 mph (+1.3 from ‘24).-0.4” iVB (+3” carry from ‘24).-9.3” sweep (+3” sweep from ‘24). Rodríguez sacrificed drop for more velocity: (+4.2% SwingStr%).

From a pitch data standpoint, Randy Rodríguez made vast improvements going into ‘25:. He maintained his <20th pctl release height, while adding ~2”vertical break - meaning a destined improvement for his 4Seam swing/miss. (Thanks to @PitcherList )
