Using our model, we were able to achieve a 100+% increase in successful intermittent computing operations using our simulation framework. Once translated to real embedded systems, this could lead to significant improvements in the usability of batteryless electronics (6/n).

In this work, we created a deep learning model that takes in environmental data (like soil moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity), and outputs a prediction of how much energy the soil battery will produce for a future time horizon. (5/n)

Intermittent computing is computing designed for non-constant, or intermittent execution, and is driven by the availability of harvested energy. The ability to effectively predict power income could be a game changer for intermittent computing. (2/n).

One of the biggest challenges to wider adoption of environmental sensing networks is the lack of ubiquitous power infrastructure. You can't just plug electronics into the dirt. but what if you could? (1/n)

New pet peeve: publishers that require figures/tables to be at the end of an article. Inline figures/tables are sooooo much more readable.
