This is the government who the University of Toronto refuses to publicly criticise. This is the military they refuse to divest from. Students at UofT & around the world will continue to call on people of conscience to denounce this abhorrent violence & to stop funding it (11/13).

Yesterday, Israel’s Minister of National Security proudly boasted about the truth of such allegations, stating that his goal is to worsen conditions as far as the state will allow. (10/13).

On June 27, the first lawyer who was able to visit, called the centre “more horrific than anything we’ve heard about Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo,” and recounted highly disturbing accounts of torture. (9/13).

Over the last week, horrific accounts have been shared of Israel’s Sde Teiman detention centre for Palestinian prisoners. Prisoners held there include Gazan medics & journalists who have not been informed what the allegations against them even are (8/13)

The students' demands persist: disclose, divest, and suspend ties with Israeli institutions that support the Occupation and ongoing brutalization and murder of Palestinian people. We continue to believe that these demands will be achieved. (7/13).

UofT used this case to platform demeaning & false descriptions of their students. CJC supported students in court with the goal of loudly denouncing the smear campaign waged against them. We were successful (6/13).

Students did not want this courtroom fight. This movement never needed judicial approval, nor did they seek it. (5/13).

3. Justice Koehnen ultimately granted the injunction not because of any moral concern about the movement or its demands, but because in our legal system ownership of private property trumps all. (4/13)
