Returning to this platform for a big announcement: We decided it wasn't enough to say NO to the 6-lane design concept for the East Bank Blvd. We envisioned something to say YES to with Southern Environmental Law Center, @ThinkTN and @walkbikenash

Community members widely oppose a 6-lane East Bank Blvd, calling for a 4-lane alternative, and with construction already underway nearby, it is urgent to expand public dialogue and consider solutions...

With all votes in, Nashville's transit plan was approved in a landslide, 65.5% to 34.5%. That's almost the inverse of 2018's transit referendum result, which failed 64% to 36%. Via @TNLookout: https://t.co/vzOdJAiBdj

It's #ElectionDay! Nashville voters, check out our transit myth-busting videos to learn more about the #ChooseHowYouMove plan before heading to the polls today. All 6 of them are on our profile!
The half-cent increase in sales tax to fund the transit plan will cost the avg. Nashville household only ~$6 per month ($70/year). Combined w/ the opportunity to save on personal vehicle costs, this is a small price to pay for a better, more comprehensive transportation system.

I like that the goalposts have brought up pedestrianizing Broadway. If the State was willing to work with NDOT what alternative path do you like for TN-24 ? That currently goes all the way to 1st Ave on Broadway.
