Today I met with @WalnutCreekGov to present funding that will help to expand broadband and facilitate smart infrastructure. It was a pleasure to join the City as we celebrate the benefits this project will bring to Walnut Creek.

We are seeing large amounts of standing water on the roads, to include major thoroughfares, residential streets and throughout our downtown. We recommend you not be out on the roadways unless absolutely necessary. If you do have to be out, please use caution and take it slow.

As a local elected, this is beyond horrifying. A free and fair press is necessary for local government to do its job. They hold us all accountable and make democracy work. Horrifying.

988 is now live and taking calls. This resource only works if people know it’s there for them so please share this number and talk about it with the people in your life. You never know when this information could save someone’s life.

Walnut Creek passed this ordinance to require guns be stored safely so that they don’t get in the wrong hands. Simple common sense. I was happy to vote for it.
