The funny part is corner branding works for corner because its tailored to its audience. So when you rip it off without considering you have a different user demographic, it feels even more cheap/off brand.
@elizalian corner branding is so beautiful, i remember the haptic vibrations on onboarding was soooo delightful too . they’re going to copy because is so unique but that is definitely annoying. this post just reminded me to use the app more and save some of my favorite coffee shops.

First tweet! Anyways, when people say so many apps and new tech feels soulless, this is why. You can rip off or chatgpt someone's work (mine), but you're missing that human essence behind it. Originality and creative integrity should not be compromised in the sake of innovation.
