Shabana Mahmood, a Muslim of Pakistani descent, has just been appointed as the UK Home Secretary. This means that Mahmood will oversee the UK’s immigration policies and national security. I have no words.

It’s not just Starmer who’s the problem it’s his whole cabinet.

Had dinner with @GarySinise this week. He was on his way to meet Linda Hope at Pearl Harbor to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII. A fitting locale, since the war started there. Remembering my dad, who fought in the pacific. 💜
