I love converse because I have mutant feet, but they fit me great. They sent me loads of pairs years ago and they just work out great for me.

Well, honestly the magic is in Vera’s voice. She is phenomenal. I played some chords, and she immediately got inspired. I then sampled one of her first scratch takes and synthesised that lead in the drop.
@chrislake Can you tell us the story with the song chemistry?.Like how it came to be. It has so much emotion and it’s so powerful.

A bit, but my team, a lot. It’s been a process trying out different things at various shows and finding what feels best with this music. This was a winner for sure. Loved it.
@chrislake how much were you involved with the production at storehouse, it was one of the most memorable I’ve seen at any show. Legit felt like I was inside the album cover at times.

Recorded in LA a couple of years ago. First time I met Riovaz. Lovely guy. Very talented. Listened to his music, then I conceptualised a beat that could work for him, and we got to work.
@chrislake May I ask where round after round was recorded initially? Or where the inspiration came from? Any insight on that one really. Both the vocals and the production on that track gives such raw emotion it’s one of my absolute favorites on the album.

No. I love that version, but I tried and tried to get it sounding like how I wanted it to sound, but never once did I get it to hit the way I wanted to. Sorry. I’ve gotta be happy with it, and I’m not unfortunately.
