Been asked a lot about our ED staffing model but also how to ‘right size’ cubicle space. Created this to calculate ED occupancy & then adjust changes to pathways to see potential impact. Simple but effective. Thoughts???. Let me know if you would like to see your department

'You can't improve what you can't see' I have created a new UEC infographic which can be sent, for any hospital, every month. This can be shared so that anyone can see what is happening and where improvements can be made. NOTE; numbers below are made up for demo purposes.

After a crazy few months, its nearly time to sign off to spend time with family. What a year! thank you to everyone I have had the pleasure of working with, the knowledge and enthusiasm has been fantastic and look forward to continuing this work next year!

Over the past presentations i've given, i've spoken about the difference in time in A&E based on age and 'what if my 80 yr old mum / 20 yr old son went there'. Well seen it it now and exactly the same thing happened. Mum = 21hrs ---- Son = 8 hours. Discuss.
