This is pretty cool from @gapingvoid. In exams, I am happy if you can give me information, but I love it when you give me insight.

As great as the programme was, what made it as compelling was Melvyn Bragg and his interaction with the guests. A programme that didn’t talk down to its audience, but was easy to listen to, whatever the topic was a rare skill indeed. I wonder if his shoes can be adequately filled.

Handy, but I would have said potassium regulates membrane potentials. Might have also added “death” into the consequences of hyperkalaemia, but then I am a pessimist at heart.

Taking my mind off tonight, here's some uncharacteristic positivity going into the weekend. My analysis model predicts a comfortable win by four clear goals. Am I doing this correctly @huddlebreakdown ?

Ringers indeed contains potassium,.But its concentration is relatively low. Its volume of distribution,.Means no increased concentration,.As study on study now show.

Lactate ringers in hyperkalaemia,.Was once contraindicated. As potassium it contains,.A fear of adding fuel to the flames,.So saline was preferred option instead.

4. Not giving lactate Ringer's (LR) because the patient is hyperkalemic. This is a good one for the physiology nerds: How can K concentration go up in solution A (serum) if there is addition of solution B (LR) with a lower K concentration?.
