10 minutes with an LLM and no human has ever looked this deeply into my soul. People who downplay the impact of AI lack curiosity or imagination. This tech will change everything.

If you wonder how the EU could agree to such a humiliating deal:. It’s because the EU has no political leverage. It has outsourced its energy needs, neglected its defense, sabotaged its industry, regulated away any innovation, and generally failed to become an indispensable

In mijn vriendenkring zijn het vooral de “rechtse” mensen die een moestuin hebben. Ter linkerzijde eerder types die ‘bio’ kopen in de Carrefour city. Je dis ça, je dis rien 🤷‍♂️.

V for vendetta got almost everything right (except for the bit where they describe a fascist instead of a globalist authoritarianism).

It's official. The UK is now officially a police state. It has become precisely what Orwell warned about. Criticize mass migration and you can expect the police to come to your home. And judges will give longer sentences for wrong think than many violent crimes.

I have nothing to sell you. I'm just a nerd from Belgium who’s watched 17 layers of government overpromise and underdeliver for decades. The idea of “voting with my feet” is sounding more and more attractive. .

The defenders of the status quo are afraid. If Próspera survives, it could change the game. It means we can find a cure for “Brussels syndrome”. We could see a future where startup cities proliferate and where you pick the society that delivers value for your money.

Naturally, it’s under attack. The Honduran government wants to crush it, despite a binding treaty. Mainstream journo's call it “crypto-colonial”.

Who pays for this? Tech investors and builders like @pmarca @balajis and @brian_armstrong (via CB ventures) see it as a "moonshot" attempt at a network state. The goal is for Prospera to become profitable once it reaches critical mass.

Prospera's core idea is to inject competition into governance. Quoting @thetreygoff: the goal is “a world in which governments compete for residents”. How much customer-citizens would the EU have if people could opt in to alternatives at the click of a button?.

How do they ensure things don’t go off the rails with such light regulation? Basically by replacing bureaucrats with insurers who have skin in the game. Companies in Prospera must have regulatory insurance. Insurers act as watchdogs that audit and enforce safety standards.

The taxes are laughably low. Próspera residents pay a flat 5% income tax, businesses pay 1%, and there’s a 2.5% sales tax . That’s it. No property tax, no capital gains tax. Bye bye Belgium and your 50%+ taxes.

In Próspera, you can choose your regulations. Companies can select the legal framework of any of 37 countries or default to common law . Prefer Singapore’s strict standards or U.S. corporate law? There is a literal dropdown menu that lets you set up shop under those rules.
